VR game backstory

The first thing that the player would appear to do is wake up and would first see a futuristic city with neon lights everywhere and robotic enemies. This would give off the sense that the city is in good condition with the robots being the only mystery as to why they’re attacking you. The player would find one of the weapons and fight off the robots. As the player progresses through the areas, parts of the robots would appear to be broken and degraded, while this may be unnoticeable at first, over time the bots would get more and more broken. This would also happen for the weapons that the player would find on their journey. As the player gets closer to the ending of the game he/she would find out that the robots are actually a race of alien that had invaded years and years ago. They had killed off every human being and the only reason that you’re still alive, is that you were preserved in a cryogenic tube that was luckily undiscovered by the aliens. Once this has discovered the player then goes on with the intention of destroying the mothership which would in turn destroy every robot on the planet.
